Scottish Grand Prix SeriesThe first race got under way on time in a NW F5. Initially the line looked slightly biased to the pin, but a shift with just under 1 minute to go allowed David Woakes to head back to the committee boat and lead comfortably at the pin. He held on till near the end of the 2nd beat when Peter Malcolm nipped past and took the lead to win.
The wind then faded to F2 for the next two races, and failure to spot shifts was costly. Peter Malcolm won both races with Niel Ritchie following him home.
A much warmer day with no wind initially. Everyone struggled out to the committee boat to be greeted by the AP. Racing was delayed about 40 minutes before the breeze settled in about F2-3. John McNally from Palm Breach SC in Florida joined us for Sunday's races and pressed hard in the first race but was unable to stop Peter Malcolm from winning.
Peter went on to win the last race and seal his umpteenth Scottish GP Series win with two events to spare.
